Corfu Getaway is family owned and managed and located in the Ropa Valley which runs through central Corfu. Being within easy distance of Corfu Town and the Airport (15 minutes); the stunning west coast beaches of Ermones, Mirtiotissa, Glyfada and Pelekas (10 minutes); Aqualand Water Park (5 minutes); and the popular resorts of Liapades (15 minutes) and Paleokastritsa (20 minutes), it makes an ideal centre for further exploration. Close by, in the village of Agios Ioannis (5 minutes), there is a supermarket and several excellent restaurants and tavernas.

The Ropa Valley itself is a haven for flora and fauna and attracts naturalists, botanists and bird watchers. It is popular with walkers and cyclists and is also home to Corfu Golf Club, a horse riding stables and a go-kart track. Along the Ropa Valley there are several large villages where little has changed over the years - great places to sit outside a café with a cold drink watching the world go by.

Accommodation at Corfu Getaway is clean and simple, consisting of rooms and self catering studios - each sleeping up to five people. Rooms are offered on a bed and (optional) breakfast basis and come with air-conditioning, TV, en-suite bathroom/WC and large balcony with scenic view. They are equipped with a fridge, kettle and TV. The large bright studios all have a balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, TV, en-suite bathroom/WC and a kitchen area with fridge, kettle, small oven/cooker and all necessary utensils and crockery. All rooms and studios are cleaned on a daily basis and are non-smoking other than on the balcony or terrace.

Outdoors there is a large swimming pool with a children's section and slide, and a pool bar offering drinks and snacks throughout the day.

The owners are very friendly and speak a variety of languages including English, Greek, Italian, Spanish and some German. They can arrange extremely economical car and bike hire, excursions, and transfers to or from the airport or ferry port.
